# seedance-2-ext Video Generation

> Generate videos with the seedance-2-ext model, supporting text-to-video and reference-image generation

`seedance-2-ext` is the promotional-channel model in the Seedance 2.0 family, offering the standard discounted tier:

* Text-to-video and reference-image generation
* Reference videos, reference audios, first/last-frame control, and video editing are not supported
* The API is asynchronous: submitting returns a `generation.task`; fetch results via the [video task status endpoint](https://docs.toapis.com/docs/en/api-reference/tasks/video-status.md).
